3D Printing FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about our 3D printing services, materials, pricing, and shipping.

The cost of 3D printing depends on model volume, material choice, layer height, and technology (FDM or SLA). FDM prints start from approximately €5, while SLA prints start from around €15 due to higher precision and resin costs. Our instant online calculator gives you an exact price in seconds — just upload your 3D model and get a quote immediately, no waiting for email replies.

We offer over 30 FDM filaments (PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PA6-CF, PAHT-CF, and more) and five Formlabs SLA resins — White, Grey, and Clear for presentation and concept models, plus Tough 2000 and Rigid 10K for engineering parts. All filaments are sourced from Bambu Lab and resins from Formlabs. You can browse the full material catalogue with live pricing in our online quote calculator.

Print time depends on the model size, layer height, and infill density. Small parts (up to 50 cm³) are typically ready the same or next business day. Larger projects take 2–5 business days. You can see an estimated production time instantly in our online calculator when you upload your model.

We accept STL, 3MF, and STEP file formats. STL is the most common format for 3D printing, 3MF supports colours and textures, and STEP is ideal for engineering models as it preserves parametric geometry. Simply upload your file to our online calculator for an instant quote.

FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) is the most widely used 3D printing technology. It melts thermoplastic filament and deposits it layer by layer. We use a Bambu Lab X1C printer capable of printing PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PA, and carbon-fibre-reinforced filaments. FDM is ideal for prototypes, functional parts, and decorative objects.

SLA (Stereolithography) uses a UV laser to cure liquid resin layer by layer, achieving exceptional precision down to 25 μm. We use Formlabs Form 3L and Form 4 printers with five resins — White, Grey, Clear, Tough 2000, and Rigid 10K. SLA is perfect for detailed models, transparent parts, and engineering components that need a smooth surface finish.

You get an instant quote through our online calculator — the only service of its kind in Croatia. Upload your STL, 3MF, or STEP model, choose your material and settings, and the price is calculated in seconds. No need to send emails or make phone calls — instant pricing and online payment available 24/7.

Our FDM printer (Bambu Lab X1C) has a build volume of 256 × 256 × 256 mm. The SLA printer (Formlabs Form 3L) offers a larger volume of 335 × 300 × 200 mm for high-precision parts. For models exceeding these dimensions, we can print in sections and assemble them afterwards.
