TPU Filament — Flexible Material for Elastic Parts

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a flexible filament that enables the printing of elastic and bendable parts. It combines rubber-like elasticity with the durability of plastic, making it a unique material in FDM 3D printing for applications that demand flexibility.

We offer four TPU variants from Bambu Lab: TPU for AMS (optimised for the automatic material system), TPU 95A HF (High Flow for faster prints), TPU 90A (softer, greater elasticity), and TPU 85A (the most flexible option). Shore hardness ranges from 85A to 95A, covering everything from soft rubber to semi-rigid plastic.

TPU is ideal for phone cases, gaskets, vibration dampeners, orthopaedic insoles, flexible couplings, and robotic grippers. Printing is slower than with rigid filaments and requires adjusted settings, but our Bambu Lab X1C is fully optimised for TPU.
